We are creatures of habit, and if we would all be honest with ourselves it takes much prayer and effort to break cycles. I often hear that the definition of insanity is basically doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results. How can you expect different results if you’re doing the same thing? Something has to change! However, it can’t change if you don’t know what needs to change. This is why I believe doing a yearly review of what has transpired in your life is important. Not to dwell and have yourself a pity party, but to make yourself aware of areas that might need improvement. Actually some things we just need to do away with completely and yes this includes changing some of the people within your circle. I don’t know about you but I want greater and expect the last part of 2016 to bring awesome things, but I have to be an active participant. Anything you want in life requires you to get up and work toward it. Yes prayer and faith is required but faith without works is dead. Faith requires legs! God is willing but I believe he’s waiting for some active participants to show up.
As a friendly reminder before we quickly approach the last half of 2016, take a moment to reflect so you can see what needs to change in you and around you. Life is too precious and short to continue down the same path with the same vicious cycle that has you no further than you were five years ago. It’s time for a change, but it starts with you! Yes, I am super excited about the remainder of 2016 and believing God for some promises to be manifested, but I know as well that I have to make sure some things that transpired in the first half of 2016 is not a part of my last half of 2016. Matter of fact, I’m determined that it won’t be. Your greater you and promises that has been strategically designed just for you are waiting for you to be an active participant in removing all clutter, things and or people that might hinder your greater from entering your life.! Are you up for the challenge?!
Praying God’s best for you in 2016!
