Watch Those Words!

Posted on August 23, 2016 at 3:10 PM

Sometimes we talk 100 mph not realizing what we’re saying or the impact those words can have in our lives. Do you realize God has given us the power to shape our future by the words we speak over ourselves? Proverbs 18:21 says Death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. So the fruit you receive is based on the words that come from your mouth. I know there is a saying that sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt. Well that is so untrue! Stop saying that!! Words do hurt in more ways than we realize. We don’t understand the power of our words or the power of God’s word. Proverbs 16:24 says Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body. So I encourage you today, to watch the words that are coming out of your mouth. Watch what you’re speaking over yourself as well as the words you are speaking over others. I am a firm believer that we do have the power to help shape what we receive and the life we live by not only our Faith but by the words that proceedeth from our mouth. If you’re constantly speaking negativity over yourself, then you will receive negative results. I know it may be hard to switch what you’re saying after being negative for so long, but take the challenge and try it. Most definitely speak God’s word over your life and your situation. I am a witness you will reap positive results. Change the way you’re thinking, change your words and you will you change your LIFE!! God’s word can’t lie and you have to believe that God wants what’s bests for you and you have to want it as well. Check back often as we will be doing a blog in the near future about the power of the mind because not only should we watch our words but what we’re thinking as well. There is a connection! So again, watch your words…pay attention to what you’re saying and please watch who you allow to speak over you.

Be Blessed!
